/The Project

We are strengthening Europe's cybersecurity innovation ecosystems — together.

EUROCYBER NEXUS takes a structured, evidence-based, and co-creation-driven approach to strengthen policy coordination, improve cybersecurity readiness of SMEs, and build long-term cooperation across regions.

/Our Approach

From evidence to impact. A continuous cycle from mapping the landscape to lasting policy commitments.

Diagnose → Co-design → Validate → Uptake → back to Diagnose

/Objectives

What we set out to do

01

Mapping regional ecosystems

Understanding the strengths, gaps, and collaboration opportunities across the region’s innovation actors — public authorities, universities, digital innovation hubs, clusters, SMEs, and policy agencies — to build a shared, evidence-based picture of where each region stands.
In practice
Mapping cybersecurity ecosystems and SME needs across the four partner regions.
02

Co-designing practical readiness tools

Working directly with stakeholders through peer-learning workshops and pilot testing to develop practical methods and tools that help SMEs and regional ecosystems strengthen their cybersecurity capacity.
In practice
Co-designing and testing practical NIS2 readiness methods through peer dialogue and pilot projects.
03

Building a Joint Interregional Roadmap

Turning shared evidence and co-designed methods into a common strategic roadmap that sets out shared priorities, governance models, and investment pathways for coordinated cybersecurity innovation across the participating regions.
In practice
Developing shared indicators, policy models, and a Joint Interregional Roadmap.
04

Securing lasting commitment

Translating the project’s results into durable institutional commitments and policy uptake, working closely with European cybersecurity networks to ensure the project’s impact continues well beyond its lifetime.
In practice
Building institutional support and long-term uptake through an Advisory Board and strategic partnerships.
